Ways to Give Ways to Give

Annual Fund Drive (AFD)
The Annual Fund Drive is a very important, yearly appeal to all families and friends of Everest to support the school’s annual operating needs. Everest’s financial model is similar to other private schools. Tuition (about $7,500) does not cover the actual cost to educate a student (about $9,500) which leaves a $2,000  “GAP” per student to be covered by tax-deductible gifts to the AFD. Funds from the AFD are part of the operating budget and are used to supplement teacher salaries and benefits, tuition assistance, support the priests and consecrated, athletics, advertising and marketing, facility and campus improvements and any other areas of need. Participation by families and staff is critical for the continued growth of Everest.

Gala Auction
The Gala Auction is our premier fundraising event and the centerpiece of the school’s social calendar. Devoted parent volunteers have worked  to make each Gala Auction an event to remember. The Gala Auction is an excellent way for parents to become involved in the school by volunteering their time and talents, donating auction items, sponsorships, and attending the event.

Golf Outing
The Everest Annual Golf Outing is played at the beautiful, but challenging Golf and Country Club in May. The day is filled with great golf, great food, prizes, fun and a little friendly competition. Several dedicated parent volunteers put on this special day at the course.

Company Matching
Many corporations recognize and are willing to support private education through a matching gift program. Your employer can advise you if your company will match your gift – often as much as two or three times your contribution.

Wills and Estate Plan Gifts
Leaving a gift to Everest through their will or estate plan allows donors to perpetuate their support after they leave this world for their heavenly home. These gifts often are made via life insurance plans, real estate, cash investment accounts, or IRAs. In addition to estate planned gifts, Everest will also provide donors with the opportunity to create a charitable gift annuity or a charitable trust.

Honorarium and Memoriam Gifts
Honorarium and Memoriam gifts are the ideal way for you to honor a loved one. Honorarium gifts are made in honor of someone still living while memoriam gifts are made in honor of a loved one who has passed away. In addition to Honorarium and Memoriam gifts, Everest provides an opportunity for you to have a Mass offered for a loved one. Mass offerings make great birthday gifts and also provide a means for you to offer spiritual support for anyone you know who is going through a challenging situation in life.

Endowments
Endowments at Everest provide a means for donors to give a gift that will produce income for Everest in perpetuity. Endowments are usually set up so that the school gains interest from the endowment without ever depleting the principal. Typically endowments require a gift of $10,000 or more to be opened. Once opened, gifts of any size can be made to increase the size of the endowment.
