Academic events & competitions

Academic competition provides students the opportunity to develop intellectually, excel in their areas of strength, put forth their best effort, and measure their success. They learn how to compete with dignity and accept with grace in either triumph or defeat. Everest students prepare year round for academic competitions scheduled in the late winter and spring, including:

• Forensics Competition - October
• Scripps Spelling Bee - school qualifier in January
• Catechism Contest - February
• Catholic Schools Week Competitions (such as pinewood derby races, regatta races, field day events and more!) - February
